Dragan K. Vukčević

Editor in chief

He was born on January 8, 1958 in Titograd (Podgorica). He graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Montenegro (1980). He got his MA (1983) and PhD degree (1993) at the Law Faculty in Belgrade (Legal and Social Sciences).

He held the position of the Republic’s Secretary of Foreign Relations in the Government of the Republic of Montenegro for the period 1989-1991.

He was dean and full professor at the Law Faculty (University of Montenegro) in Podgorica, and Dean of the Faculty of Law (University of Donja Gorica) in Podgorica. He teaches Sociology and Globalization at the University of Donja Gorica.

He is the editor-in-chief of the publishing house CID in Podgorica.

The most important books published: Sociological Thought in Russia (twentieth-century experience), Podgorica – Sremski Karlovci, 1994; Economics and law (relation of basic concepts), Podgorica, 1996; Beyond Norms (sociological and legal essays), Podgorica 2003.

He is President of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts since 2016, and member of the World Academy of Sciences and Arts.
